At the ‘International Martini Organ Competition 2017’ in Groningen, (NL), Laurens de Man has won first prize, the audience prize and the prize for best performance of a new work by Jan Welmers. Marie Hyoju Ahn won third prize.

Laurens de Man studied with  Jacques van Oortmerssen, Matthias Havinga and Pieter van Dijk. Recently he graduated from the master’s degree programme with honours. Marie Hyoju Ahn, also a recent graduate  from the master’s degree programme, studied with Matthias Havinga and Pieter van Dijk.

On July 1st, 2017, Diederik Blankesteijn won second prize at the Govert van Wijn Competition in Maassluis (NL). Diederik  studied with  Jacques van Oortmerssen and studies now with  Pieter van Dijk and Matthias Havinga.
