Bass trombonist Sérgio Simões has won the audition for bass trombone with the Orquestra Filarmónica de Jalisco, Mexico. Sérgio Simões has just finished his second year of the bachelor’s degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studies with Ben van Dijk.
