Janina Lorenci en Lola Mlacnik recently won another international competition, Concorso Internazionale Paolo Serrao in Italy. They were the absolute winners of the entire chamber music category (strings with or without piano, wind instruments with or without piano, piano duet, mixed formations). They also received the special prize ‘Paolo Serrao’ for achieving 100 points. Janina studies saxophone and Lola percussion, both in the third year of the bachelor’s degree programme. Only last month they won the Eighth International Competition Svirel in Slovenia, in the chamber music category.
