Upon her arrival DNOA proudly welcomed Joshua as the successor to Alexander Oliver. She started this task - of perfecting the training of young opera singers - with great dedication and enthusiasm. It gradually became clear that the views on the future of DNOA of Joshua and the Board of directors of DNOA with respect to the artistic policy and how to implement change started to diverge. DNOA and Joshua have therefore agreed in an amicable manner to part ways.
