The importance of this versatile instrument within the profile of new music, which has an important place in the CvA study programmes, as well as its links with almost all departments, require a study programme at the highest level. The principal subject can be taken in every phase: young talents (Sweelinck Academy), bachelor’s and master’s degree programme.

Two prominent accordionist will make up the teaching team, thus guaranteeing a study programme that will be internationally relevant. We welcome our new teachers Marieke Grotenhuis and Marko Kassl.
