CvA student Mengjie Han in final of International Liszt Competition

For the first time in nine years a Dutch pianist has reached the final of the prestigious International Franz Liszt Competition: CvA student Mengjie Han will compete on November 6 and 8 against Peter Klimo (1990, United States) and Mariam Batsashvili (1993, Georgia). Joop Daalmeijer, president of the international jury, praised the exceptional high level of the semi-finalists.

Mengjie Han (1989, Shanghai) studies in the second year of the master's degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
