Tom Wolfs to solo with Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam

Clarinettist Tom Wolfs has won the audition on December 9, 2013, and will be the soloist in the next ochestra project with the Symphony Orchestra of the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, conducted by Jan Willem de Vriend. He will play Mozart's Clarinet Concerto in A.

The other works on the programme will be Mozart's Ouverture from La Clemenza di Tito and Beethoven's Third Symphony ('Eroica'). The concerts will take place on April 25 at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, 8.15 p.m., and on April 27 at  Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden, 2.30 p.m..

Tom Wolfs (Geleen, 1989) studies in the second year of the master degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and he will graduate in June. In 2012 he graduated from the bachelor degree programme at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he studied with Arno Piters.
