Prize for Asuka Sumi and Panos Iliopoulos

Baroque violinist Asuka Sumi and harpsichordist Panos Iliopoulos have won the Romanus Weichlein prize for the advancement of Austrian Baroque music at the International H.I.F. Biber Competition for Early Music in Austria. Asuka en Panos played a programme which showed the Austrian influences in late 17th century Italian violin music. Asuka and Panos both study in the master's degree programma at the CvA Early Music Department.
