Pierre Volders is solo trombonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra. Additionally, he plays with the New Trombone Collecive, which he cofounded. On a project basis he also plays with the World Orchestra for Peace. In 1998 he was appointed principal subject teacher at the Rotterdam Conservatory. In 2011 he joined the brass section at Conservatorium van Amsterdam as principal subject teacher and section representative.
