Rodion Trio wins International Chamber Music Competition

The Rodion Trio, formed by CvA graduates Diederik Ornée, clarinet; Annelies Vrieswijk, saxophone, and Mark Toxopeus, piano, have won the International Chamber Music Competition in Almere. The judges - James Wood, Mieko Kanno, Frank Peters, Guy van Hulst and Sjef Douwes - were unanimous in their choice for the trio. The prize consists of an amount of € 7.500,- and a concert tour in the Netherlands.
