Sebastiaan Kemner wins Aeolus International Competition for Wind Instruments

Trombonist Sebastiaan Kemner (23) has won the 8th Aeolus International Competition for Wind Instruments in Düsseldorf, Germany. His performance of a trombone concerto by Nino Rota not only impressed the judges, who awarded Sebastiaan with the first prize of 10.000 euros, but also the audience, who awarded him with the public prize of 2.000 euros.

Sebastiaan graduated from the CvA bachelor degree programme in 2012 and continues his studies at the CvA in the master degree programme.
