The Classical Brass section at Conservatorium van Amsterdam will be joined as of September 1, 2011, by five new teachers:

* Jörgen van Rijen, solo trombonist with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra (principal subject and ensembles)
* Pierre Volders, solo trombonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra (principal subject and ensembles, section coordinator)
* Remco de Jager, trombonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra (principal subject, ensembles, methodolody, young talents and additional study)
* Ben van Dijk, solo bass trombonist with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra (principal subject and ensembles)
* Alla Libo, pianist (repetiteur)

The teachers have developed the acclaimed concept of ‘team teaching’ at the Rotterdam Conservatory and they will start their teaching practice at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam as of September 1, 2011. We look forward to a rewarding cooperation.
