Tonight at the AHK Starterscafé: Choose your manner of payment
How do you get paid? Are you entering employment? Are you going to become a self-employed professional without staff (zzp’er)? Will you be arranging it through a payroll company? You will be given a clear step-by-step plan for each variant. That will help you arrange everything properly for yourself. Useful, right?
About Karlijn Hemmer
Karlijn Hemmer (she/her) is a cultural entrepreneur. She graduated from the Production and Stage Management programme at the AHK in 2017 and since then she has worked at all kinds of places in the cultural field. Her work focuses on the business and entrepreneurial side of the sector, motivated by the question: ‘How should we deal with (human) capital in a sustainable way?’
This workshop is conducted in Dutch. Feel free to ask questions in English. The English-language workshops will take place in January 2025.
Free workshop
This inspiring workshops is free for current students and recent graduates (after 2021) and €12.50 for AHK alumni who graduated before 2021 and external visitors.

17:30-18:00: Walk in & free meal | Meet your fellow students and experts and expand your network.
18:00-20:30: Tips & tricks | The instructor will tell you everything you need to know as a beginner.
20:30-21:00: The bar is open | Feel free to continue chatting with other guests or ask your tutor any questions.
