Alumnus Alex Simu (Bucharest, 1981) has been awarded a ‘Gouden Kalf’ (the Dutch Oscar) in the category ‘Best Score’ for his score for the film Beyond Sleep. In 2009, Alex graduated from the master’s degree programme in jazz saxophone at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
