Koen Stapert wins Best Performance Prize

Violinist Koen Stapert has won the prize for Best Performance of Forté, composed by Willem Jeths, during the preliminary rounds of the Oskar Back Competition.

Violinist Koen Stapert has won the prize for Best Performance of Forté, composed by Willem Jeths, during the preliminary rounds of the Oskar Back Competition. Next Saturday, January 30th, he will play in the semifinal of the competition. In 2015, Koen graduated from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam master’s degree programme, where he studied with Liviu Prunaru. Prior to the master's degree programme, he studied in the bachelor's degree programme at the CvA with Kees Koelmans.

Caspar Horsch, third-year student in the CvA’s bachelor’s degree programme, where he studies with Liviu Prunaru, is also semifinalist.
