Osian Jones

Osian Jones is a cellist from South Wales in the final year of his Master’s Degree in Historical Performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, studying with Viola De Hoog. Osian studied Historical Performance as a Bachelor at the Royal Academy of Music in London, learning with Hannah Roberts and John Myerscough on modern cello and Jonathan Manson and Jo Crouch on baroque cello. During his studies, Osian has played alongside many individuals such as Rachel Podger, Laurence Cummings, and Shunske Sato and groups including the Age of Enlightenment, Holland Baroque, and the group that he directs, Pont Baroque.

Maurits Koelmans 

Maurits Koelmans studied piano with Frank Peters and fortepiano with Olga Pashchenko at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He also took lessons in improvisation and basso continuo with Kris Verhelst and Miklós Spányi. As a member of The Netherlands Boys' Choir, Maurits Koelmans already participated in productions at a young age, including in the Concertgebouw with, among others, Iván Fischer and Mariss Jansons. In addition, he attended masterclasses with Clive Brown, Pierre Goy, Wolfgang Brunner, and Antonio Simón, among others, and has already performed at Tivoli Vredenburg, Stadsgehoorzaal Leiden, and Orpheus Apeldoorn, among others.

Jonas Krebs

Jonas Krebs plays the violin and viola and enjoys performing Baroque chamber music and classical and romantic music. He studied in Bern with Corina Belcea (violin), Meret Lüthi (baroque violin), and Prof. Kai Köpp (research). Jonas currently focuses his studies on early music performance at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Shunske Sato, Antoinette Lohmann, Sayuri Yamagata, and Emmanuel Resche-Caserta.

Shannon Lee

Born in Canada, Shannon Lee began playing violin at age four in Plano, Texas. She made her solo debut at the age of twelve with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, and has won prizes in international competitions such as the Sendai, Queen Elisabeth, Naumburg, and Indianapolis. Shannon is a student of Vera Beths at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Her previous teachers include Jan Mark Sloman, Jaime Laredo, Ida Kavafian, and Arnold Steinhardt at the Cleveland Institute and Curtis Institute of Music. Previously she completed her Bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University while taking violin lessons with David Nadien.

Karina Sosnowska 

Karina Sosnowska (1998) is a Polish violinist, currently in her master studies in Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with prof. Eliot Lawson, Antoinette Lohmann and Shunske Sato. Karina became involved in the historical performance of Medieval, Renaissance and Baroque music already as a teenager, with early music ensembles Erato and Incalzando in Gdynia, Poland. Currently pursuing her studies on both modern and historical violin, she is becoming specialised in the historically informed performance practice of 18th and 19th century music and performs with various early music ensembles based in the Netherlands.
