Nobuko Imai, born in Tokyo in 1943, is set to deliver masterclasses on the 15th and 17th of February. A distinguished musician (viola), she received her training at Toho Gakuen School of Music, Juilliard School, and Yale University. Imai boasts top prizes from international competitions, alongside collaborations with renowned artists and orchestras. Her extensive discography highlights her artistry, earning her multiple music awards. She currently imparts her knowledge at prestigious institutions, including at our very own Conservatorium van Amsterdam, and established the East West Baroque Academy for budding musicians.
