Muziek en beeld door studenten van de master Composing for Film.
Programma
1. Nerve Fiber
Most of the time music is merely complimentary in the context of a film. The group Nerve Fiber gives a whole new meaning to the word Muziekfilm. They're providing a definition of what that term can actually mean in the year 2010.
Sean Winters - Trumpet/Flugelhorn, Piano/Nord, Gongs, Laptop, Electronics
Onno Govaert - Drums
Tjeerd Schills - Signal Proccessing
Jilt Van Moorst - Flowmotion/Video
2. Werelden
Werelden (2009) is a short visual effects film directed by Thomas van der Ree. Sean Winters composed the original score in his first year of the Conservatorium's Composing for Film Masters Degree Program. This relatively new masters programme is an official collaboration between the Nederlandse Film- en Televisie Academie and the Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
3. Supermodified
Improvised music based around material made by Tjeerd Schils (Alpheid). Emphasis is on interaction between the electronic sounds and the musicians. Ranging from spheric soundscapes to more up-tempo music. The modification of sounds and the consequent reaction of the players is the essence of this project. Every piece has a distinct vibe and sound-world.
Mark Nieuwenhuis - Trumpet
Steven Coppens - Drums
Jan Jaap Doeven - Guitar
Tjeerd Schills - Signal Proccessing
